A very common issue with word showing a document recovery file globally to all users opening a word document on a Citrix / Terminal server environment.
This document recovery file is usually caused by the domain administrator of the server / network as they should be the only user with access to write such a reg key in the following location.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal Server\Install\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Word\Resiliency\DocumentRecovery\
To clear this file just delete the reg keys in this directory in your registry on the Citrix / Terminal server in question
