A very common issue with word showing a document recovery file globally to all users opening a word document on a Citrix / Terminal server environment. This document recovery file is usually caused by the domain administrator of the server / network as they should be the only user with access to write such a reg key in the following location. Citrix Logon Process Hangs At the Running logon scripts

This  is an ongoing issue usually caused by the “Printer Mapping Virtual Channel” in the ICA listener on Citrix Metaframe XP, Citrix XenApp 3 ,4 , 4.5 The issue is down to a bad driver on the server that crashed the print spooler service on logon.
